What is the value of a college education?  We may think we already know the answer, but what we know for sure is the 26 Public Forum teams sure had plenty of arguments on both sides for the second year of the Public Forum State Tournament.

Adithya Balaji and Tony Bigelow of Eastview High School defeated Eagan’s Maggie Parra and David Wickard on a 5-2 decision to take home the championship.  Balaji and Bigelow’s argument of the benefits and costs of a college education followed nine rounds of debate over two days.

Sharing in a weekend of success was the semi-finalists teams from Champlin Park and Blaine High School.  Rounding out Quarter-Finalists were teams from St. Paul Academy, Wazyata and Eagan.  Congrats to all students who participated.
